What is mold dangerous?
There are about 100 thousand species of mold fungus, but often a person can detect white, green, and black mold.
White mold
A white mold is most often seen in potted houseplants and in vases of flowers that have been in the water for a long time, as well as on cheese and baked goods. White mold spores can cause “hay fever” in humans, which manifests itself in the form of an allergic reaction to various blooms: itchy nose, sore throat, suffocation, runny nose, cough, swelling of the mucous membrane of the eyes and nose, etc.
Green mold
Green mold looks like moss and has an uneven surface and a rich color. It is found in apartments and houses, it mainly affects porous surfaces: wood, brick, etc. This type of fungus can be found on expired food products, in which case they should be thrown away immediately.
Black mold
The most dangerous type of mold can spread almost everywhere: in basements, attics, walls, tiles, ceilings, and under floors. If you found it in food, better to throw goods away. To a greater extent, black mold is dangerous by the rapid spread of spores through the air. They cause serious diseases of the respiratory system (bronchitis, asthma), general malaise, lacrimation, and suffocation in a person.
Why does mold appear in the house?

One of the interesting historical facts about mold is related to the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. In 1922, part of the English archaeologists who participated in the search for the mummy died from an unknown disease. In the late 1990s, scientists found that a mold lived in the tissues of the lungs of mummies, the concentration of which led to the death of those who entered the tomb.
